How do I report spam I've received at my domain?

For most people, who are not used to reading email headers, a service such as that offered by SpamCop is a fast and easy way to report spam. SpamCop is a free service (with a pay option, if you are inclined) that allows input of the full received spam, including the headers of the message. Their system will then parse the input and offer a list of abuse reporting destinations. Important: please do not report spam you have received at your domain to any hmdns.net or hmdnsgroup.com reporting addresses. Since the parser will read the server names, it is quite likely that the server name where your account resides will be parsed as a matter of course. Reporting to the hmdns.net or hmdnsgroup.com addresses for spam you have received at your domain will effectively mean you are reporting yourself for spamming, and enough invalid reports will likely end with the server where your account resides landing on the SpamCop blocking list. As it is highly unlikely that the spam originated via the server where your own account is located, skipping reporting addresses at hmdns.net and hmdnsgroup.com is perfectly safe.
