Replacing cPanel (Part Seven, August 1, 2019) - the saga continues
It's DirectAdmin time. We've been working with it for a week now, and it's far closer to the cPanel experience for all users (client level, reseller level, admin level). We are working on another set of "How Do I..." for DA, but since all the options are laid out right at the top of the screen, there isn't really any digging through menus that needs to be done to find a function. We'll likely be focusing on how to use some of the functions, and what suboptions are available for them, as the top level is intuitive enough that it doesn't need much help.
We expect the first notices for migrations to go out tomorrow for migrations beginning the evening of August 9. Tonight we'll be testing the import script they have for cpanel-created backups - in the true spirit of science everywhere, I'll be experimenting with my own personal account first (because someone has to be that guinea pig).
Quetions/comments/etc. - feel free to ask them in the desk.
Thanks, everyone, and have a great night!
