How do I release/cancel a domain?

To release/cancel a domain (to have it not renew at the next scheduled renewal date), log in to the client area at https://secure.hostmatters.com/clientarea.php and choose the "my domains" option to view all domains associated with your profile and registered through us. Choose "view details" next to the domain you do not wish to renew. On the screen that follows, choose "disable autorenew" to set the domain to not invoice and renew at the next scheduled date. You can also contact support to request that a domain not be renewed. In the request, be be sure to include the domain name that should be permitted to lapse.
